Why Singapore is very famous?
Singapore is famous for being a global financial centre, being among the most densely populated places in the world, having a world-class city airport with a waterfall, and a Botanic Garden that is a World Heritage Site.
Why is Singapore its own country?
On 9 August 1965, Singapore separated from Malaysia to become an independent and sovereign state. The separation was the result of deep political and economic differences between the ruling parties of Singapore and Malaysia, which created communal tensions that resulted in racial riots in July and September 1964.
Is Singapore expensive to visit?
It might be ranked the second-most expensive place in the world, and accommodation, food, and world-renowned attractions can definitely set you back, but there are ways to save in Singapore. Booking in advance and planning your trip extensively will allow you to cut spending corners and it won't break the bank.
