General Rules
Avoid smoking in public places.
Hotel or Car/Bus/Cruise tips are to be borne by the passenger directly.
Cooperate with the Tour Manager in every situation for a safe journey.
Washing of clothes inside hotel rooms is strictly not allowed.
Rooms will be allotted family-wise.
Group Size
All group tours are subject to a minimum of 20 passengers.
If the minimum group size is not met, Darshan Travels and Tours reserves the right to cancel the trip or convert it into a customized tour, in which case no refund will be applicable.
Timeliness
Passengers must report on time during tours.
Missed services due to late arrival will not be compensated, and additional costs will be borne by the passenger.
Airline & Visa Rules
Air cancellation is strictly as per airline rules.
Visa fees are non-refundable.
Darshan Travels and Tours is not responsible for visa rejection, delay, or cancellation due to incomplete/late document submission or consulate/embassy decisions.
Countries requiring confirmed bookings (air/hotel/transport) for visa processing: cancellations in such cases will not be refundable.
For On-Arrival Visa/e-Visa countries, separate adjustments will not be processed.
Fuel & Transportation
Abnormal fuel price hikes or additional transport needs will be borne by the passengers, to be decided on the spot by the tour manager/guide.
Behavior
Misbehavior during the tour may lead to immediate cancellation of services for the concerned traveler, without refund.
Registration & Documentation
Registration fees are non-refundable.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing (via email or physical application).
Telephone calls, mobile messages, or WhatsApp conversations will not be considered valid for cancellation.
All necessary travel documents must be submitted within stipulated timeframes.
Third-Party Services
Darshan Travels and Tours acts only as a travel organizer/agent and is not liable for services provided by airlines, hotels, transport operators, or cruise companies.
Insurance & Liability
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Liability for loss, injury, or medical expenses rests with the traveler unless otherwise covered by insurance.
Refunds
Refunds are subject to supplier (airlines, hotels, transport, cruise) policies.
No refunds for itinerary disruptions due to bad weather, natural disasters, civil unrest, governmental orders, or suspension/interruption of services.
Payment Timeline
All dues related to the journey must be cleared at least 01 month before departure.
Failure to comply may result in booking cancellation.
Jurisdiction
All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kolkata courts under Indian law.
