Refund Policy

1. General Cancellation Terms

All cancellations must be communicated in writing through email or letter, and will be effective from the date received at our office.

💡 Note: Some group tours or peak season tours may have different cancellation policies. Clients will be informed at the time of booking.

2. Flight / Train / Cruise / Ferry Tickets

• Cancellation and refund policies for flight, train, cruise, or ferry bookings are governed strictly by the rules of the respective airline, railway, or shipping company.
• Service and convenience fees charged by Darshan Travels and Tours are non-refundable.
• Refunds will be processed only after the actual refund is received from the airline/cruise company.

3. Visa, Travel Insurance & Documentation Charges

• Visa fees (whether approved or rejected), consulate fees, and all related documentation charges are non-refundable once processing has been initiated.
• Travel insurance once issued is also non-refundable, as per the terms of the insurance provider.

4. Refunds for Unused Services

• No refund will be provided for:
  • Partially utilized services (e.g. missed meals, hotel nights, sightseeing).
  • Unused services due to illness, delay, or personal choice.
  • Early return or departure from the tour.

5. Group Tour Policy

• In the case of fixed-departure group tours, cancellation charges may be higher due to pre-booked services such as charter flights, hotels, and buses.
• If minimum required participants are not met, Darshan Travels and Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour. In such cases, the full amount will be refunded, and no further claims shall be entertained.

6. Force Majeure / Natural Calamities / Government Restrictions

In circumstances beyond our control, such as:

• Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, cyclone)
• Political unrest or war
• Epidemics/pandemics (including COVID-19)
• Government travel restrictions or visa refusal

Darshan Travels and Tours will attempt to obtain maximum possible refunds from third-party suppliers. Any amount recovered will be refunded to the customer after deducting a nominal administrative charge. However, we do not guarantee full refunds in such cases.

7. Mode & Timeline of Refund

• All refunds will be made through bank transfer or the original mode of payment.
• Refund processing time is 10 to 21 working days, depending on third-party approvals and service provider policies.
• Clients will be notified via email or phone once the refund is initiated.

8. Special Non-Refundable Packages

• Promotional, discounted, and last-minute deals are often 100% non-refundable.
• These terms will be clearly mentioned at the time of booking.

9. Amendment Policy

• Any changes to the booking (travel dates, passenger details, hotel preferences) are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
• Amendments within 14 days of departure may be treated as cancellations.

Darshan Travels and Tours acts as an intermediary between clients and various independent service providers. While we take utmost care in selecting vendors and partners, we are not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or default by these third-party entities.
