General Rules

Avoid smoking in public places.

Hotel or Car/Bus/Cruise tips are to be borne by the party on the spot.

Cooperate with the Tour Manager in every situation for a safe journey.

Washing of clothes inside hotel rooms is strictly not allowed.

Allotment of rooms will be family-wise.

Group Size

All group tours are subject to a minimum of 20 passengers.

If the minimum group size is not met, Darshan Travels and Tours reserves the right to cancel the trip or convert it into a customized tour, in which case no refund will be applicable.

Timeliness

If any customer fails to show up on time during the tour, Darshan Travels and Tours shall not be responsible for missed services.

Any extra charges for tour guide, transport, or other arrangements will be borne solely by the passenger.

Fuel & Transportation

If fuel prices hike abnormally, the party will bear the extra hire charges of Car/Bus/Boat, to be decided on the spot by the tour manager or guide.

If additional transportation is needed after reaching the tourist spot, the expenses shall be borne by the passengers.

Airline & Rail Rules

Special fare, voidable tickets, or coupon tickets (Domestic & International) are fully non-refundable as per airline regulations (e.g., Air Asia).

We are fully dependent on Airline, Rail, and Cruise cancellation policies and will follow their norms.

No meals will be provided during flights, trains, or cruises.

Behavior

Any misbehavior during the tour may lead to cancellation of services for that particular person, without refund.

Registration & Documentation

Registration fees are non-refundable.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing, either via email or physical application.

Telephone calls, mobile messages, or WhatsApp conversations will not be considered valid for cancellation.

Proper documentation must accompany any cancellation request.

Third-Party Services

Darshan Travels and Tours acts only as a travel organizer/agent and is not liable for services provided by airlines, hotels, transport operators, or cruise companies.

Insurance & Liability

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Liability for loss, injury, or medical expenses rests with the traveler unless otherwise covered by insurance.

Refunds

Refunds are subject to supplier (airlines, hotels, transport) policies.

Darshan Travels shall not be liable for amounts withheld by such suppliers.

No refunds shall apply if the itinerary is hindered due to bad weather, natural disasters, civil unrest, governmental orders, or suspension/interruption of services.

Digital Use

Any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or disruptive conduct may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

Digital platforms of Darshan Travels are for personal booking use only. Unauthorized, fraudulent, or speculative bookings are strictly prohibited.

Railway Bookings

Through IRCTC government portal (Agent Login).

During peak season, specific coach, berth, or class cannot be assured.

Seats will be confirmed as per availability.

If a requested train is unavailable, tickets will be issued on an alternative train without prior intimation.

Payment Timeline

All dues related to the journey must be cleared at least 01 month before the departure date.

Failure to comply may lead to cancellation of booking by Darshan Travels and Tours.

Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kolkata courts under Indian law.
